What's new vs Mortal Shell 1?

Mortal Shell II features stamina-unrestricted combat, a compact interconnected open world, 60+ dungeons, extensive weapon upgrades, and 8 Shells with unique abilities.

Where do I start as a new player?

After Marrow Keep, go to Widow's Overlook, not Mammon. Unlock Tiel or Proxima before chasing sidearms. The beginner's guide has the same first-hour ticks.

How do I heal?

Mether's Pulse is the flask (R / D-pad Up). Beacons refill it and restore Resolve but respawn enemies. Weltcaps are the world heal. Glands add charges; Vessels add heal size.

How do I revive my Shell?

As the Harbinger, land melee hits until the lower-right Shell icon hits 100%, then press the swirl prompt. Resting at a Beacon also revives you and resets the rising cost.

How do I fast travel?

Siphon Ova at the Marrow Keep globe until Mether's Breath appears, then use it at any Beacon. Game8 says 6 Ova; you already start the overworld with 3.

Can I respec or change Shells?

Yes. Swap at any Beacon or at Zhirelle. Shell Points reset for free. Glimpse spent on Bond does not come back, so do not max a Shell you have not played.

What is the recommended main story route?

Use the spoiler-light walkthrough for the route from the prologue and Marrow Keep through Fainweald, Mammon, the six Corrupted Gates, Unfound Path, and Zmey.

What is the point of no return?

Defeating the final boss does not immediately close free roam. The irreversible action is choosing Send Ova at the Gloom Siphon, which starts the ending and New Game Plus.

Where are all eight sidearms?

The sidearm checklist covers the prologue Nayleshotte, both Fainweald dungeon pickups, the tavern Lute, and the four later Mammon weapons with their nearest Beacons.

How do I reveal the full map?

Collect five Fainweald and six Mammon Map Fragments from Ruk map stations. Finding all eleven completes the Sat Nav achievement and makes Beacon and collectible cleanup easier.

How do I parry?

Equip the Infinite Seal from Sester Genessa's Marrow Keep training. Until that timing is consistent, keep the starting Untarnished Seal.

Which Shell should I upgrade?

Tiel or Eredrim for a first Glimpse stack; Genessa if you want late-game damage. You can only fully bond about two or three Shells per run.

The game is crashing / Zmey stole my weapons

Install Balance Patch 1, then unequip Grisha Remnant before retrying Zmey. Steam Deck players should lock 30 FPS. Details on the PC fixes page.

How many endings are there?

Two: Send Ova after Zmey for the main ending, and Baghead's empty-handed quest for the joke secret ending. Beating Zmey does not lock free roam.

Where is Duality Stone?

Ravaged Tomb, southeast of Nochtean Gate. It doubles Axatana and Axe & Dagger standing light combos.

How do I track 100%?

Use the tickable checklist plus Tarstones, dungeons, Beacons, and trophies. Play view hides the site chrome. Ticks stay in this browser.

How long is the game?
